More weekend pix!
We love guests! It was hard to move away from all our friends and family in Boulder but great to have so many folks make the trek over for a visitGreat visit from CB crew
Alfords pose for a family photo during cocktail hour with Scott Gurst, Miki, Scott Fliegelman, Liz (pregnant!), Jeff and Alicia. So nice to catch up with everyone in the cozy Love Shack, drink some wine, etc.
Next day Rose got out to Steamboat for the first time for some excellent ski conditions. She is still crippled today from the effort of teleing for the 1st time in over a year

Jeff Black talks turkey with Trout. They were both cracking up at each other for about a half hour straight

Trout and Matt get out for our very first Baby Bjorn stroll into downtown to meet Rose getting off the shuttle from Steamboat. Sunny, warm, comfy...Trout fell asleep with his little glasses on. He likes the carrier much better facing outwards. We're guessing he's over 17lbs now but the carrier is comfy so hopefully we'll get out on some more strolls on warm days soon!

YC, Kurt Gutensohn-Weidknecht IBy comparison Trout only has a visible Eddie Munster thing going on when shot from the proper angle. Here wrestled into submission by Steph Ryan. When oh when will we get these two rascals together?

15lbs 11 oz

Trout got thru his last round of shots with flying colors and we celebrated his 3 month/5 month birthday with a visit from Dave & Steph Ryan, who timed their visit perfectly to correspond with a huge dumping of snow, something like 60"+ in the previous 3 days. On the bummer side the water pipes at Das Chalet seem to have frozen up...aaargh! Well the challenges continue...

He's a maniac, maniac I know-o-o!

Trout flashdancing his way up to 15 1/3rd lbs, at least according to our crude scale...08 has begun and Rose & Matt have a long list of resolutions, most involving getting back outside more than we have in the last 6 months or so. Early winter and we are already looking forward to busting out our sweet new trailer for bike rides, hiking, bouldering and all the other spring activities we can do with Trout. Throw in a couple adult marathon beat downs on the bikes and we'll be happy. We did manage to get over to our local ski hill, 6 blocks away, for a couple solo laps in the fresh powder. Needless to say we were ruuuusty! Rose hasn't skiied in almost a year and MOA last slid in August. Legs were burning on Howelson Hills 400 feet of vertical so it was probably a good thing we didn't spend $80 (each) to hit the big mtn of Steamboat... Happy New Year!!
