Blast from the way-back machine as a mini-Gettysburg College reunion coallesced in our living room. So fun to see old friends and catch up, reconnect hopefully and make some plans to keep it going in the future. Old friends are the best friends, though new friends are pretty cool too...

Trout loves to read books, or at least to look at pictures and sometimes chuck books across the room... Gotta start somewhere!

Nice sunny day for the Steamboat Winter Carnival which involves shutting down the main street in town, covering it in snow and having horses pull little kids on skis thru slaloms, over jumps and for speed, plus the HS marching band on skis and all sorts of other fun.

Trout loves it! Fireworks and "parade" down the slopes of Howelson Hill in the dark with literally hundreds of skiers, ski jumpers and freestylers holding flares and skiing down one of the steepest runs in the valley, jumpers thru hoops of fire off the 68m jump and a "Lighted Man" in a special 70lb costume that shot off fireworks everywhere as he skied down the run...wow!
